Tapi fortress

Tapi fortress or Gevorg Marzpetuni fortress is located on the right bank of Khosrov river in Ararat region, Urtsadzor. Tapi fortress was built in the 10th century. The 13th century church is also located inside the fortress.

A “Psalter” was written by the pen of Barsegh. The castle withstood the Armenian-Arab war and other invasions.
